RESOLUTION NO. 24-68
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE PLACE1VIENT OF LEnAL NarICES
WHEREAS, the Finance Connnittee of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect did meet on June 24, 1968, for the purpose of
reviewing expenditures for legal notices, and have made certain recornrrendations
for the placement of legal notices; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have reviewed and modified the reconmendation of the Finance
Conmittee and have determined that the same is for the best interests of the
Village of Mount Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUsrEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPEcr, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SEcrION 1: That, except for the ordinances published in pamphlet
form, legal notice of all ordinances requiring publication and passed and
approved by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect shall
be published in the Prospect Day along with those notices required for public
hearing before the Plan Connnission and Board of Appeals of the Village of
Mount Prospect~
SECTION 2: That all bid notices be published in the Mount
Prospect Herald.
SEcrION 3: That all election notices be placed in both the
Prospect Day and the Mount Prospect Herald.
SEcrION 4: That personnel recruitment advertising be left to
the discretion of the Manager or the Conmission placing the advertisement
for specific personnel.
SECTION 5: That the motion seconded and carried by the Board
of Trustees conce:rning the creation of the Mount Prospect Herald as the news-
paper of record, and found on page 130 of the Official Minutes Book pertaining
to the May 11, 1966 meetmg, be and is hereby repealed, and further that
Resolution 38-63 heretofore passed and approved by and is hereby repealed.
SEcrION 6: That this Resolution shall be m full force and effect
after its passage and approval as provided by law.
