A RESOLurION CANVASSING THE VOI'ES CAST AT THE REGULAR MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD APRIL 15, 1969, AND DECLARING THE PESULTS THEREOF
\tJHEREAS, a regular municipal election was held in and for the Vill~ of
flbunt Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, on Tuesday, April 15, 1969, for
the purpose of electing a Vill~ President, a Village Clerk, three
Village Trustees, each for e. four-year tenn and four Library Directors,
three for a six-year tenn, and one for a two-year term (to fill a vacancy) ;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have canvassed the votes cast
at said election and are ready to report;
NO\v, THEREFORE, BE IT PESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MJUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTIaJ G'lli: That said election was duly held as provided by law.
SECTIG'J TWO: That 7484 votes were cast in the follo'tling manner:

SECTION THREE: (a) That inasmuch as Robert Teichert received the greatest
number of votes, he is hereby declared elected to the Office of Village
President of t.Cle Village of Mount Prospect.
(b) That inasmuch as Donald Goodman received the greatest
number of votes, he is hereby declared elected to the office of Village Clerk
of the 1 illage of Mount Prospect.
( c) That inasmuch as Daniel Ahem, Donald Furst, and George
Reiter received the greatest number of votes, they and each of them are
hereby declared elected to the office of Trustee of the Village of Mount
Prospect.

(d) That inasmuch as John Parsons, Helen Viger, John Gladst one, and
Marion Clark received the greatest number of votes, they and each of them
are hereby declared elected to the office of Library Director of the Village
of Mount Prospect.
(e) That all the foregoing officials so elected shall qualify in the
manner and time prescribed by law.
SECTION FOUR: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
