State of Illinois, desires to undertake, in the year 1970, the location, con- I
struction, operation and maintenance of driveways and street returns, water- I
mains, sanitary and storm sewers, street lights, traffic signals, side",alks,
RESOLUTION NO. 34-69
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, located in the County of Cook,
landscaping, etc., on State highways, "lith in said Village of Mount Prospect,
which by law and/or agreerrent come under the jurisdiction and control of the
Department of Public Works and Buildings of the State of Illinois hereinafter
referred to as Department; and
'itJHEFEAS, an individual working per'IT'i t must be obtained from the Depart-
rrent prior to any of the aforesaid installations being constructed either by
the Village of Mount Prospect or by a private person or firm under contract
and supervision of the said Village of r.1ount Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF ~10UNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect hereby pledges its good I

faith and guarantees that all work shall be performed in accordance with the
conditions of the pemit to be granted by the Department, and to hold the
State of Illinois, Department of Public iolorks and Buildings harmless on
account of any damages that may occur to persons or property during the pro-
secution of such work, and assume all liability for damages to persons or
property due to accidents or otherwise by reason of the work which is to be
performed under the provision of said pemit.
SECTION T\VO: That all authorized officials of the Village of r.1ount
Prospect are hereby instructed and authorized to sign said working permit on
behalf of the Village of r10unt Prospect.
SECTION THREE: That this REsolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
