DRDINANOE NO. 67
wmmEAS, the Village Board of the Village of Vount
Prsopeot, Cook County, Illinois, after due investigation and
oonsideration, has determined that the nature and extent of
the pub1io use and the pub1io interests to be subserved in
auch, as to warrant the vaoation of certain streets des8cribed
in the following ordinance: therefore,
BE IT ORDAIWED by the PreSident and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Vt. Prospect:
SECTION 1. That all of Katz street lying north of the
North line of Oentral Avenue in the Village of Mt. Prospect,
Cook Oounty, Illinois, to the South line of Hen17 Street, in
said Village, and all of Henry Street lying west of the West
line of Elmhurst Road, as colored in red and indioated by the
words, "TO BE VAOATED", on the plat hereto attached, whioh
plat for greater certainty is hereby made a part of this
ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated and closed, in
asmuoh as the same is no longer required for public uee, and
the pub1io interests will be subservei by such .acation.
SECTION 2. The vacation herein provided for is
made upon the express condition that within thirty (30) days
after the passage of this ordinance Melvin Joseph Oassity, ot
his grantees and assigns, will file with the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount ~rospect a plat showing
a subdivision of property which shall contain the streets herein
vacated, and also other property, and also shaa11 show a
dedication of certain streets and alleys in said plat.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage, subject to the con-
dition of Seotion 11 hereof, provided that the said Melvin
Joseph Oassity, or his grantees or assigns, shall, within
Sixty (60) days after the passage of this ordinance, file for
record in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook Oounty,
Illinois, a certified copy of this ordinance.

17th day of June. I.D~ 1925. in a regularly oal1ed meeting
of the ~resident and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mt. Prospeot, Cook County, Illinois, all of the me~bers of
voting "A7e" in favor of said ordinance and none voting "Wo",
and that said vote was entered on the reoords of said Board
of Trustees.
I further oertify that the Board of Trustees of
the Tillage of Mt. Prospeot, Oook County, Illinois, is oomposed
of Six (6) members, which is the number authorized by law
to be eleoted.
