Annexing certain territory to the Village of Mt. Prospect,
Cook County, Illinois, pUr$lumt to an Order of the County
Court of Cook County, Illinois in Case Number 61319
entered on the 18th day of Maroh A.D. 1929, submitting
said property for the Annexation to the Village of Mt.
Prospect, County of Cook, state of Illinois.
1ffiEREAS the County Cour.c of Cook County has heretofore on the
18th day of March A.D. 1929, entered an order submitting for annexation
to the Village of Mt. Prospect, Cook County, Illinois the territory herein-
after described. and
VffiEREAS the Clerk of the County Court has duly executed a true
copy of said Order which Order has been by him, the said Clerk of the County
Court, duly certified to the Clerk of said Village of Mt. Prospect, and
has been received and filed by him and
vYHEREAS this Board of Trustees finds that the petition, notice,
service, posting and publication and ordera of Court are in conformity with
the statutes in such cases made and provided, that said property seeking to
be annexed to the Village of Mt. Prospect is a territory conti.guous to the
Village of Mt. Prospect and is no"c included within the corporate limits of
any city, town or village and that the petition therein was signed by the
majority of the property owners and also signed by a majority of the legal
voters residing in such territory and that said petition prays for the
annexation of the territory described in said order to the Village of Mt.
Prospect and
~{EAS the County Court by its order entered on to-wit the 18th
day of March A.D. 1929 has submitted said question of the annexation of said
property to the Village of Mt. Prospect as aforesaid and
WHEREAS this Board of Trustees finds that all steps, proceedings and
acts necessary and proper for the purpose of authorizing this Board of
Trustees to annex said territory according to law have been complied with:

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTgES OF THE VILLAGE OF
MT.PROSPECT, ILLINOIS,
Section 1, that the territory described as follows, to-wit:
The East 150.24 feet of Lot "H" in Kirchhoff's
Subdivision, being a subdivision of the North East quarter
(t) of the North Ev,st quarter (*) of Section 10, the East Half
(2) of the North West quarter (t) of th~'North East quarter (i)
of' Section 10; the North West quarter (i) of the North West quarter (t)
of Section 11 and the North 10 chains of the South West quarter (i)
of the North West quarter (i> of Section 11 all in Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian and the South Half (i>
of the South West quarter (i) of Section 33. that part of the West Half
(i) of the North West quarter (t> South of Railroad of section 33; the
North West quarter (i> of the South West quarter at of' Section 33;
that part of the North East quarter (i> of the"' South 'West quarter a)
South of railroad of Section 33 and the West l~ acres of that part
of the West Half of the South East quarter (i) South of Railroad of
Section 33. all in Township 42 north, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to plat of said Subdivision recorded May
22. 19~7, in book 152 of plats, page 15, in Cook County, Illinois.
Also:
A strip of land lying between the West line of "Centralwood,"
being a subdivision of the following described land: Beginning at the
South East corner of the West half (i) of the South East quarter (t) of
section 33, Tovmship forty twG (42) North. Range 11, East of the Third

Principal Meridian, thence West along the South line of said section
33, a distance of' 14.82 chains; thence North along a line parallel to
the Est line of the West half' (~) of the South East quarter (t)
of said section 33 to the Southerly line of the right of way of the
Chicago and North Western Railway Company, thence South Easterly along
the said right of way line to the East line of' the West half' (~) of'
the South East quarter (t) of said section 33; thence South along last
mentioned line to the place of beginning, and the East line of
Lot "Rn in Kirchhoffts Subdivision aforesaid, in Cook County, Illinois,
which said territory is contiguous to the Village of Mt. Prospect
as aforesaid and not embraced therein and not embraced in any other
incorporated city, tmvn or village, and also described and set forth
on the plat thereof hereto attached, annexed and made a part hereof',
be and the s~~e is hereby annexed to the Village of Mt. Prospect, so that
hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary line and
limits of said Village as is by law in such cases made and provided.
Section 2, That the Clerk of the Village of Mt. Prospect is hereby directe
to proceed at once, after this law goes into f'ull force and effect, to have
prepared a proper map of said annexed territory and file the same for record
in the Offioe of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, together with
a certified copy of this ordinance as is by law required.
Section 3, that this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after thirty days from its passage and approval as provided by law.
