AN ORDINANCE DISCONNECTING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS a petition has been duly presented according
to law requesting the disconnection of the land hereinafter
described from the corporate limits of the Village of Mount
Prospect; and,
WHEREAS after investigation it is found that all of
said lands and territory lie within the Village of Mount Prospect
and are upon the border and within the boundaries thereof; that
none of said lands are laid out in city or village lots or blocks;
that said petition is signed by the owners of more than a
majority of the area of said lands and is accompanied by a
certificateof the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, Showing
that all village taxes and assessments due at the time of the
presenting of said petition have been fully paid; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of :Mount Prospect, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands be and
the same are hereby diseqnnected from the Village of Mount
Prospect, subject, however, to payment of the proportionate share
of any and all unpaid indebtedness of said Village contracted
during the time said lands were within the said Village.
The following is a description of the lands hereby
disconnected:
The Southeast Quarter (Except the West 5 acres
thereof) of the Southeast Quarter of Section
Thirty-four (34)~ To'woship Forty-two (42) Nortt,
Range Eleven (II) East of the Third Principal
Meridian;
Also the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter and the East Half of the Northwest Quarter
of the Southeast'Quarter (Except the West part
being 289.95 feet on the north line and 303.07
feet on the~outb line' of Section Thirty-four
34), Townslitp,Fort~-two ~42) North, Range Eleven
11) East' bftbe Th1rd Pr1ncipal Meridian;

Also the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section Thirty-five (35),- Township
Forty-two (42) North, Range Eleven (11) East
of the Third Principal Meridian,
SECTION 2. The Village Clerk of this Village is
hereby directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance with
the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, and is also
directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance with the
Clerk of the County Court of Cook County, Illinois, all as
required by statute.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval and it shall be
known as Ordinance No.
