HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 175 03/29/1935 --I ., ;..-"1/' r AN ORDINANCE DISCONNECTING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE VILLAGE OF MOONT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS. WHEREAS a petition has been duly presented according to law requesting the disconnection of the land hereinafter describ- ed from the corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect; and, WHEREAS after investigation it is found that all of said lands and territory lie within the Village of Mount Prospect and are upon the border and within the boundaries thereof; that none of said lands are laid out in city or village lots or blocks; that said petition is signed by the owner of all of the area of said lands and is accompanied by a certificate of the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, showing that all village taxes and assessments due at the time of the presenting of said petition h~ve been fully paid; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois: SECTION 1. That the following described lands be and the same are hereby disconnected from the Village of Mount Prospect, subject, however, to paYment of the proportionate share of any and all unpaid indebtedness of said Village contracted during the time said lands were within the said Village. The following is a description of the lands hereby disconnected: Commencing 7.38 chains West of the Northeast corner of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, and running thence West 4.27 chains; thence South 26.13 chains to the center line of Seegers Road; thence South 86 degrees East on the center line of said road 4.28 chains to the corner of the school lot; thence North 26.48 chains to the place of beginning; r ..*' -" Also: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, and running thence East 8.~5'chains; thence South 26.13 chainsto the center line of Seegers Road; thence North 86 degrees West along the center line of said road to the West line of said Northeast Quarter of said Section 14; thence North along the West line of said Northeast Quarter of said Section 14, to the place of beginning. SECTION 2. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby directed to ~ile a certified copy of this ordinance with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, and is also directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance with the Clerk of the County Court of Cook County, Illinois, all as required by statute SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval and it shall be known as Ordinance No. __ 17S"'. PASSED this 2~t~ day of Mar., A.D. 1935. G~~ Village Clerk.
