AN ORDINANCE COMPROMISING THE AMOUNTS DUE ON
CERTAIN LOTS FOR CERTAIN DELINQUENT SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AND
INTEREST AND PENALTIES THEREON.
BE IT ORDIANED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1. The amounts due and delinquent on the
following lots for the fifth installment of Special Assessment
Warrant No. 13, due January 2, 1932, together with interest and
penalties thereon, are hereby compromised in the manner herein-
after stated under Section 227 of "An Act for the assessment of
property and for the levy and collection of taxes," approved
March 30, 1872, as amended July 13, 1933 (Smith-Hurd, Ch. 120,
Par. 212):
Lot Two (2) in Block Two (2)
Lot Five (5) in Block Two (2)
Lot Twenty-four (24) in Block Two (2)
in Prospect Park Subdivision No. I, being a subdivision of the
W i of the North 60 rods of the Southwest Quarter of Section Twelve,
Township Forty-one (41) North, Range Eleven (11) (excepting street
heretofore dedicated), in Cook County, Illinois, also:
Lot Six (6) in Block One (1)
Lot Seven (7) in Block One (1)
Lot Five (5) in Block One (1)
Lot Six (6) in Block Two (2)
Lot Ten (10) in Block Three (3)
Lot Fifteen (15) in Block Three (3)
in Prospect Park Country Club Subdivision, being a subdivision

of the Southeast Qua~er of Secti~n Eleven and the South
Fifteen Acres of the East Half of Northeast Quarter of said
Section Eleven, all in Township Forty-one (41) North, Range

eleven (11), East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois, also:
Lot Nine (9) in Block Two (2)
Lot Fourteen (14) in Block Four (4)
in Meier's Addition to Mount Prospect in the Northwest Quarter
of Section Twelve, Township Forty-one (41) North, Range Eleven
(11) East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois., also:
Lots One Hundred and One (101), One Hundred and
Three (103), One Hundred and Eighteen (118), One Hundred and
Ninety (190) and Two Hundred and Fifty-seven (257) in H. Roy
Berry's Colonial Manor, being a subdivision of part of the
Northeast Quarter of Section Eleven, Township Forty-one (41)
North, Range Eleven (11), East of the Third Principal Meridian,
also part of the Northwest Quarter of Section Twelve, Township
Forty-one (41) North, Range Eleven (11), East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois., also:
Lot Fourteen (14) in Busse's re-subdivision of
Lots One (1) to Six (6), inclusive, in Block Four (4), Lo~s
Two (2) and Three (3) in Block Five (5), all of Block Six (6) ,
Lots Thirteen (13) to Twenty-four (24), inclusive, in Block

Seven (7), Lots Seventeen to Twenty in Block Eight (8), all
in Meir's addition to Mount Prospect, a subdivision in the
Northwest Quarter of Section Twelve (12), Township Forty-one (41)
North, Range Eleven (11),. East of the Third Principal Meridian, 1n
Cook County, Illinois..
Section 2. The Village Collector of Mount Prospect
is hereby authorized and directed to accept the unpaid remaining
portions of Village of Mount Prospect Improvement Bonds, Nos. 6,
7 and 8, Denomination $500.00 each, SeriesD, Docket.No. 13, dated
J~~ 15, 1927, due December 1, 1932, each having an unpaid remaining
portion of principal in the amount of $300, the three making a total
of $900.00, together with such cash and accrued interest on said
bonds as is necessary to pay accrued interest on said installments
in full paYment of the delinquent special Assessments described
in Section One, above, the ovmers of said lots and said bonds
being the same persons.
Section 3. The Village Collector of Mount Prospect is
hereby directed to issue receipts in the usual form to the respective
owners of the lots described in Section One above, showing that the
said respective delinquent fifth installments for Special Assessment
Warrant No. 13, for improvement of paving due January 2, 1932,
together with interest and penalties thereon, have been paid in full.
Section 4. The County Clerk of Cook County is hereby
directed to cancel from the records in his office the delinquent

fifth installment of Special Assessment Warrant No. 13, for
the improvement of paving, due January 2, 1932, together with
interest and penalties thereon (all of which were withdrawn
from sale March 6, 1933) on all of the lots described in Section
One, above, in accordance with the aforesaid statute.

Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, do hereby certify
that the above and foregoing is a true, correct and complete
copy of a certain ordinance passed by the Board of Trustees
of said Village of Mount Prospect on the ____ day of
A. D. 1935, and approved by the President thereof on the
day of , A. D. 1935, entitled, "An Ordinance
compromising the amounts due on certain lots for certain
delinquent special assessments and interest and penalties thereon",
as appears from the records of said Village, and do hereby further
, certify that I am the keeper of the papers, entries, records and
ordinances of the said Village.
