AN AMENDED ORDINANCE

PROVIDIl'iIG FOR TEE LEVYING .AID) ASSESSMENT OF TAXES FOR TEE CUR'!'.\
RENT FISCAL YEAR OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, COM-
MENCING MAY 1, 1939, AND ENDING APRIL 30, 1940.
WHEREAS the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
, of Mount Prospect, in the County of Cook and State of Illinois,
did on the 27th day of June A.D. 1939 pass the annual Appropri-
ation Ordinance for said Village for the fiscal year beginning
on the first day of May, A.D. 1939, and ending April 30, A.D.
1940, the amount of which is estimated to be the aggregate sum
of ~24,446.00, which said Approproation Ordinance was duly pub-
lished on the 5th day of July A.D. 1939 and is hereby amended to
read an aggregate sum of $41,566.33, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect:
SECTION 1. That there be and is hereby levied upon all the
taxable property within the corporate limits of said Village of
Mount Prospect, for the year 1939, the total sum of $28,561.49,
for the following specific purposes mentioned in said Appropri-
ation Ordinance, and in the respective sums as follows, to-wit:
