THE ANNUAL LEVY ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS,
PROVIDING FOR TEE LEVY AND ASSESSMENT OF
TAXESFO.RT:HEFISCAL YEAR BEGINNING 14!Y 1,
1945. AND ENDING APRIL 30. 1946:.

Village of Mount Prospect, Coo~ County, Illinois, on, to wit,
June a, A.D. 1945, duly passed the annual appropriation bill
of the Village of Mount Prospect, C~ok County, Illinois, for
the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1945, and ending April 30,
1946; and
WHEREAS, the said annual appropria.tion bill was dw.y
published on the 15th day of June, A.D. 1945, in the Mount
Prospeot Herald, a newspaper publiShed. in the said Village of
Mount Prospect, and USO by posting c:opies of said annual
appropriation bill in three public p~ces in the said Village;
and

Section 2. That the sura of Six Hundred Twenty-five
Dollars ($625.00), being the amount of the deficiency in the
collection of taxes heretofore levied for retirement of interest
on bonds issued in pursuance of an ordinance entitled It An Ordi-
nance Authorizing and Directing the Issuance of Bonds of the
Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, in the Amount
of Seventy-five Hundred Dollars ($7500.00) for the Purpose of

Obtaining Money for the Purchase of a Fire Truck and the Con-
struction of an Extension to the Village Hall for the purpose
of Housing such Fire Truck, and Providing for the Collection
of a Direct Annual Tax for the Payment of the Principal and
Interest of said bonds,'t duly passed on the 9th day of May,
1928, and published as by law required, be and the same is
hereby specially levied on all taxable property within the
said Village of Mount Prospect for the said current fiscal year;
that the specific amount hereby specially levied for the payment
of interest is as follows:

1946, be and the same is hereby specially levied on all tax-
able property within the said Village of Mount Prospect for
said current fiscal year; the various objects and purposes for
which said appropriations were heretofore made are set forth

Section 5. That the Village Clerk is hereby directed
to file with the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, within
the time specified by statute, a copy of this Ordinance duly
certified by said Clerk.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
