AN ORDINANCE AMro~DING THF. ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOU}TT
PROSPECT, ILLINOIf?..!-____.

WHERFAS, the Zonin~ Commission of the Village of Mount
Prospect at a meeting duly called and held according to law,
considered the Question of re-classifying the hereinafter de-
scribed real estate from l.ts present classification R-2 to B
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after con-
sidering the recommendation of the Zoning Commission, find and
believe that the highest and best use for the real estate de-
scribed herein is that the South half of said property be
designated as fulsiness B District and that the North half of said
property be designated R-I Residence District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1.
That an Ordinance entitled RAn Ordinance
classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trades
and :i.ndustries ann thf' location of bui lr1ings designed for speci-
fied uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk of build-
ings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and l:i.mi ting the
intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and determining
the area of yards, courts and oth0r open sp8.ces wi thin and sur-
rounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of districts
for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for the vio1a-
tion of its urovisions" passed and approved December 4, 1~23} and
amendments thereto, and known as Ordinance No. 52" as amended,
be further amended by re-classify:tng the SOllth half of the here-

inafter described real estate to B Business District and the
North Half of said Real estate to R-l Residence District:
Lot A in Ernest Busse's Addition to Mount
Prospect, bei.'ng a s1Ibd,ivision of the South
543 feet of the East Half of the South
West quarter of Section 34, Town 42 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Princinal Mer-
idian, in Cook County, Illinois.

subject to all limitations and conrlitions placed llpon properties
in B Business District and R-1 Residence District as defined in
said Ordinance hereinnpfo~e mentioned.
S"RCTION 3_~_. Any pe~c;nn, firm or cor~:lOration who violates,
disobeys, omi tc::., nei!lects or refuses to comply with or who re-
sists the enforcement of any of the pr'ovi~ions of this Orc'linance
shall be fined not less than Ten Dolla~s ($10.00) nor more than
One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense, each day that a
violation is perrott.t.ea to exist shall conc::titut"" a separatf" of-

SECTION 4. 'Il-Its Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage: aunroval and ~lblication ac-
cording to law.
