.AN ORDINANCE MiIENDING THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINAJfCE AS M~ENDED

~~EREAS. the Zoning Co~~ission of the Village of rKount
Prospect at a public meeting duly called and held according to
law, considered the Question of reclassifying from R-l Residence
District to B Business District, the real estate hereinafter
described; and
\THEREAS. the President and Board of Trustees have con-
sidered the reco~nendation of the said Zoning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT P~D
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUlIT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That an Ordinance entitled film Ordinance
classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trades
and industries and the location of build.ings designed for spe-
cified uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk of
buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and limiting
the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and deter-
mining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within
land surrol~ding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of
districts for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for
the violation of its provisionsfl passed and approved December
4, ~923, and amendments thereto, and known as Ordinance No. 52f1
as amended, be further amended by reclassifying from R 1 Resi-
dence District to B Business District, the following described
real estate:
Lot 54 in "Morningside Gardens", being a
subdivision of part of the North East Quar-
ter of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian~
in Cook County, Illinois.

SECTION 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall
be subject to all limitations and conditions based upon proper-
ty in B Business District as defined in said Ordinance hereinbe-
! fore mentioned.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who re-
sists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance
shall be fined not less thsn Ten Dollars (~JlO.OO) nor more than
One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense, e2.ch day that a
violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate of-
fense.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication ac-
cording to law.
