AN ORDINANCE amending the preamble
of an Ordinance entitled: "An Ordi-
nance authorizing and providing for
the issue of $50,000 Water Revenue
Bonds of the Village of Mount Pros-
pect, Cook County, Illinois, for the
purpose of defraying the cost of
improving and extending the present
waterworks system of said Village,
prescribing all of the details of
said bonds and prOViding for the
collection, segregation and deposi-
tion of the revenues of the water
works system of said Village for the
purpose of paying the cost of oper-
ation and maintenance thereof, pro-
viding an adequate depreciation fund
therefor, and paying the principal
and interest of said Water Revenue
Bonds", passed and approved February
8th, 1949 and published February 11,
1949.

WHEREAS. the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, on February
8th, 1949, passed an Ordinance entitled: hAn Ordinance author-
izing and prOViding for the issue of $50,000 Water Revenue
Bonds of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, IllinOis,
for the purpose of defraying the cost of improving and extend-
ing the present waterworks system of said Village, prescribing
all of the details of said bonds and providing for the collec-
tion, segregation and disposition of the revenues of the
waterworks system of said Village for the purpose of paying the
cost of operation and maintenance thereof, providing an adequate
depreciation fund therefor, and paying the principal and inter-
est of said Water Revenue Bonds", which said Ordinance was duly

BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:

improving and extending the present waterworks system of said
Village, prescribing all of the details of said bonds and pro-
,iViding for the collection, segregation and disposition of the
I revenues of the waterworks system of said Village for the purpose
of paying the cost of operation and maintenance thereof, provid-
ing an adequate depreciation fund therefor, and paying the
principal and interest of said Water Revenue Bondsn, passed and
I approved February 8th, 1949 and pUblished February 11th, 1949,
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
WHEREAS. it is deemed advisable, necessary and
for the best interest of said Village that improve-
ments and extensions be constructed to said ex-
isting municipal waterworks system" such improvements
and extensions to consist of the construction and
installation of a new water well to be approximately
1500 feet deep and to be located on property owned
by the Village 10cated on the east side of Waver1y
Place lying south and adjacent to the first alley
south of Prospect Avenue in the Village of Mount
Prospect, said well to constitute an additional
source of water supply, well pumping equipment con-
sisting of a 400 gallon per minute pump, It.. 75 horse-
power m6tor and all electrical controls incident
thereto and a pumping station to consist of a build-
ing with internal measurements of approx1mate1y 14
feet by 16 feet and having a height of approximately

15 feet, such pumping station to house the well
pumping equipment and all accessories incident
thereto, an eight inch water main to connect the
additional source of supply to the existing dis-
tribution system, and together with all necessary
fittings, connections, appurtenances and equip-
ment incident thereto, all in accordance with the
detailed plans and specifications therefor here-
tofore approved by the President and Board of
Trustees of the said Village of Mount Prospect
and now on file in the office of the Village
Clerk for public inspection; and
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and pUblication,
