ORDINANCE NO. 343
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
VI~AGE OF MOIDJT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE AS AMENDED

WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount
Prospect at a pUblic meeting duly called and held according to
law, considered the question of reclassifying from R 2 Residence
District to B Business District, the real estate hereinafter
described; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, having
considered the recommendation of the said Zoning Commission,
find and believe that the highest and best use for the real
estate herein is that of B Business use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
SECTION 1. That an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance
classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trades
and industries and the location of buildings designed for speci-
fied uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk of
buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and limiting
the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and deter-
mining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within
and surrounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of
districts for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for
the violation of its provisions", passed and approved December 4,
1923, kno~m as Ordinance Mo. 52, as amended, be further amended
by reclassifying from R 2 Residence District to B Business Dis-
trict, the following real estate:
Lots 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30,
in Block 20 in Mount Prospect, being a sub-

division in Section 12, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Merid-
ian;
also
The South 136 feet of'"ffie East half of Block
9 in E_3se & WilleTs Resubdivision in the
West he.If of Section 12, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Merid-
ian.
SECTION 2. ~hat said real estate as reclassified shall
be subject to all limitations and conditions placed upon pro-
perties in B Business District as defined in said Ordinance
heretofore mentioned.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who re-
sists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance
shall be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than
One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense, each day that a
violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate of-
fense.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication,
