WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect at a public meeting dUly called and held according to law, considered the question of re-classifying from B BUSiness District to R-2 Residence District the following described real estate, to-wit: Lots 22, 23 and 24 in Block 20 in Mount Pros- pect, being a Subdivision in Section 12, Town- ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees having con- sidered the recommendation of the said Zoning Commission and to correct any possible defects in prior amendments effecting the above described real estate, find and believe that the highest and best use for the real estate here~n is R-2 Residence District for Lots 22 and 23 and B Business District for Lot 24. NOW" THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: SECTION 1. That an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trades and industries and the location of buildings designed for speci- fied uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk of bukldings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and limiting the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and deter- mining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within and surrounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of districts for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties tor. ~,I " -2- the violation of its provisions., passed and approved December 4, 1923, known as Ordinance No. 52, as amended, be further amended by re-classifying from B Business District to R-2 Resi- dence District the following described D$al estate: Lots 22 and 23 in Block 20 in Mount Prospect being a Subdivision in Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, ~ast of the Third Principal Meridian; and that the following described property be and the same is hereby classified to remain as B Business District: Lot 24 in Block 20 in Mount Prospect being a Subdivision in Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third principal Meridian. SECTION 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be Subject to all limitations and conditions placed upon proper- ties in such Districts as defined in said Ordinance heretofore mentioned. SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who re- sists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100"00) for each offense, each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 4. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 5.
