AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING
WATER OPERATED AIR-CONDI-
TIONING UNITS.
WHEREAS, the Municipal water supply is inadequate for com-
mercial and industrial uses and is barely adequate, becallse of the
tremendous growth of the Village, to provide for hUMa.n need.s and

Therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRTTSTEES OF "'HE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILIJINOIS:
Section 1. '!'hat it shall be unlawful for any person, f1.rm or
corporation to oonstruct, erect, operate or maintain refrigerating
'systems used in oonnection with the oontrol of temnerature or hu-
midity of air in or circulated to snace, or spaces, oocunied by
people or where used for oomfort cooling, where such operation
requires the use of water from the municinal water sunnly.
II. Section 2. That any person, firm or oornorB.tion v'-olat1.n~
