AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE AS AMENDED

WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount
Prospect at a public meeting duly called and held according to
law, considered the question of reclassifying from R-2 Residenoe
District to B Business District, the real estate hereinafter
described; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have con-
sidered the recommendation of the said Zoning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 0 RDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance
classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trades
and industries and the location of buildings designed for spe-
cified uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk'of
buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and limiting
the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and deter-
mining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within
and surrounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of
districts for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for
the violation of its provisions," passed and approved December
4, 1923, and known as Ordinance No. 52, as amended, be further amended

by reclassifying from R-2 Residence District to B Business District,
the following described real estate:
Lots 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 in Morningside Gardens,
being a Subdivision of part of the North East quarter of
Seotion 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois
also
Lots 53, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59 and 60 in Block 21 in Morning-
side Gardens, being a Subdivision of part of the North East
quarter of Section 12, TownShip 41 North Range 11 East ot
the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook Co~nty, Illi~ois

SECTION 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall
be subject to all limitations and conditions based upon property in
B Business District as defined in said Ordinance hereinbefore men-
tioned.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists
the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be
fined not less than Ten Dollars l$10.00) nor more than One Hunired
Dollars ($100.00) for each offense, each day that a violation is
permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and atter its passage, approval and publication according to
law.
