AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
LEVY AND COLLBCTION OF TAXES
FOR CORPORA~E AND MUNICIPAL
PURPOSES 01<' TIm VILLAGE ,~
MOUNT PROSPECT FOR THE FISCAL

AND ENDING APRIL 302 1954.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ?RESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOITNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. Th3t the sum of Eighty nine Thousand Six Hundred
Forty Dollars and seventy-five cents ($89,640.75), the same being
the total amo'J,nt to be levied of appropriations heretofore made
for corporate pllrposes, Bond and Interest, Road and Bridge fund, I
Garbage fund, Playground a.nd Recreation Center fund, Police PensIon I
and Public Library funds, for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1953
and ending April 30, 1854, as appr.)pria ted for the current fiscal
year by the said Annual Appropriation Bill, be and the same is
herebJl levied on all taxable property within the Vil1cige of Mount
Prospect according .to the valuati.on of said property as is, or
shall be af;sessed or equEil1.zE'(1 for state and CountJ7 purposes for
the current year 1953. The Appropristions theretofore having
