.AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE AS AMENDED

WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount
Prospect at a public meeting duly called and held according to
law, considered the question of reclassifying from R-2 Residence
District to B Business District, the real estate hereinafter
described, and
~~REAS, the President and Board of Trustees have con-
sidered the recommendation of the said Zoning Commission;
NOW, THER:B~FORE , BE IT OHDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance
classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trades
and induwtries and the location of buildings designed for spe-
cified uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk of
buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and limiting
the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and deter-
mining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within
and surrounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of
districts for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for
the violation of its provisions", passed and approved December
4, 1923, known as Ordinance No. 52, as amended, be further amended by
reclassifying from R 2 Residence District to B Business District,
the fOllowing described real estate:
Lots 1 and 2 in Block 21 in Prospect Manor,
being a subdivision of part of the south
three quarters (S.3/4) of the West half
(W. 1/2) of the West half (W. 1/2) of Section
34, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of
the 3rd P. M., Cook County, Illinois.
$ECTION 2: That said real estate as reclassified
shall be subject to all limitations and conditions based upon
property in B Business District as defined in said Ordinance
hereinbefore mentioned.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who vio-
lates, disobeys, ani ts, neglects or refuses to comply with or
who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor
more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense, each
day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a
separate offense.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication ac-
cording to law.
