AN ORDIIANCE relating
1=0 traffic.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any operator of a vehicle
to disobey any official traffic sign or signal placed in accordance
with the provisions of this or any ordinances of the Village, unless
at the time otherwise directed by a police officer.
Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any operator of a vehicle
to enter in, upon or across any street or intersection hereinafter
described without coming to a full and complete stop:
All traffic on Owen and Evergreen Streets shall stop before
entering in, across or upon the intersection of said streets;
All traffic on Milburn and Elmhurst Avenues shall stop before
entering in, across or upon the intersection of said streets;
All traffic on Evergreen Street shall stop before entering in,
upon or across Elmhurst Avenue;
All East bound traffic on Prospect Avenue shall stop before
entering in, upon or across Elmhurst Avenue;
All East bound traffic on Lincoln Avenue shall stop before
ent~rlng in, upon and across Main Street;
All South bound traffic on Main 6;)treet shall stop before
entering in, upon and across Lincoln Avenue;
All North bound traffic on Wapella Avenue shall stop before
entering in, upon or across Central Road;
All traffic on Pine Street shall stop before entering in,
upon or across Central Road;
All North bound traffic on Elmhurst Avenue shall stop before
entering in, upon or across Lincoln Avenue;
All traffic on Busse and Elm Streets shall stop before enter-
ing in, upon or across the intersection of said streets;
All traffic on Maple Avenue shall stop before entering in,
upon or across Busse Avenue;
All traffic on Emmerson btreet shall stop before entering
in, upon or across Busse Avenue;
All traffic on Maple Avenue shall stop before entering in,
upon or across Central Road;
All traffic on Emmerson btreet shall stop before entering in,
upon or across Central Road;

All traffic on Wapella and Lincoln Avenues shall stop before
entering in, upon or across the intersection of said streets.
Secti~ 3. The chief of police is hereby directed to cause to be
erected appropriate official traffic signs at the above described
streets and avenues.
Sectio~ 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinanc es in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
~ection 5. Any person, firm or corporation who violates any of
the provisions of this ordinance, shall upon conviction thereof, be
fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $100.00 for each such offense.
