AN ORDINANCE amending the
Village of Mount Prospect
Zoning Ordinance as amended.

WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount
prospect at a public meeting duly called and held according to law,
considered the question of reclassifying from Bi, Residence District
to B Business District, the real estate hereinafter describea; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, having consi-
dered the recommendation of the said Zoning Commission, find and
believe that the highest and best use for the real estate herein
is that of B Business use;
!Q!, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance classi-
fying, regulating and restricting the location of trades and in-
dustries and the location of buildings designed for specific uses;
regulating and limiting the height and bulk of buildings hereafter
erected or altered, regulating and limiting the intensity of the
use of lot areas and regulating and determining the area of yards,
courts and other open spaces within and surrounding such buildings;
establishing the boundaries of districts for the said purposes;
and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions"
passed and approved December 4, 1923, known as Ordinance No. 52,
as amended, be further amended by reclassifying from Rl Residence
District to B Business District, the following real estate:
Lots 58, 59, 60, 61,62 and 63 in Maplewood
Heights, being a sub-division of the East 15.00
chains of that part lying North of Railroad of
Southeast Quarter of Section 12 (except the
Southerly 66 feet for road) also of Block 26
in Busse's Eastern Addition to Mr. Prospect in
the East Half of Section 12, all in Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian in Cook County, Illinois
Section 2. That said real estate as reolassified shall be
subject to all limitations and conditions placed upon properties
in B Business District as defined in said Ordinance heretofore
mentioned.

Section 3. Any person, firm or oorporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who re-
sists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance
shall be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than
One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense, each day that a
violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate
offense.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
