Alf ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIOIl 16.1
OF CHAPTER 6 OF THE MOOT PROSPECT
BUILDING CODE OF 1938.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT ABD BOARD OFTRVSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUllTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. ~hat section 16.1 ot Chapter 6 ot the
Mount prospec~ BU11ding code ot 1938, (ordinance Ho. 225) as
amended be and the same is hereby turther amended to read as
tollows:
Section 16.1. A single family dwelling shall
con~a1n and shall have a ground tloor area as
tollows:
1. One story buildings with basements, not
less than 1000 square teet.
2. One story buildings with utility rooms,
and without basements, not less than 1100
square teet.
3. one and one-half.story buildings not
less than 825 square feet.
4. Two story buildings not less than 650
square feet.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be in full foree
and effect upon its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
