AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH "C"
and "D" OF SECTION 20 OF THE MOUNT
PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT# COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1.
That paragraphs "c" and "D" of Section
20 of Ordinance No. 263 to amend an Ordinance entitled "An
Ordinance classifying, regulating and restricting the location
of trades and industries and the location of buildings designed
for specified usesj regulating and limiting the height and bulk
of buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and deter-
mining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within
and surrounding such buildingsj establishing the boundaries of
districts for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for
the violation of its provisions" passed and approved December 4,
1923, and amendments thereto and known as Ordinance No. 52, be
and the same is hereby further amended to read as follows:
C . REQUEST FOR REZONING OR AMENDMENT. Hereafter
any person, firm or corporation desiring to file a peti-
tion or request for the rezoning of any property in the
Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois or for the amend-
ment~ the Zoning Ordinance of said Village, or the
modification of any of its provisions, shall upon the
filing of such petition or request, pay to the Village
Clerk of said Village a filing fee of Ninety Dollars
($90.00). The Village Clerk shall thereupon issue to
such applicant or petitioner a receipt therefor and
shall turn such fee over to the Village Treasurer of
said Village.
D. FEES. All such filing fees received by the
Village Treasurer shall be kept in a separate fund ani
shall be used only for the purpose of paying the expenses,
including publication costs, in connection with such
application and in addition thereto, for expenses incurred
in the administration of said Zoning Ordinance including

any legal expenses incurred and salaries or compen-
sation of members of the Zoning Commission which may
from time to time be provided by ordinance.
Section 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication,
according to law.
