AN ORDINANCE amending the
Village of Mount Prospect
Zoning ordinance as Amended

WHEREAS, the zoning Commission of the Village of Mount
Prospect at a public meeting duly called and held according
to law, considered the question of reclassifying from R-l
Residence District to B-Business District, the real estate
hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the president and Board of Trustees, having con-
sidered the recommendation of the said zoning Commission, find
and believe that the highest and best use for the real estate
herein is that of B-Business use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the president and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount prospect, cook
County, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance
classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trades
and industries and the location of buildings designed for
specified uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk of
buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and limiting
the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and deter-
mining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within
and surrounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of
districts for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for
the violation of its provisions", passed and approved December
4, 1923, known as Ordinance No. 52, as amended, be further
amended by reclassifying from R-l Residence District to B-
Business District, the following real estate:
Lots 15, 16 and 17 in Block 22 in Prospect Manor,
being a Subdivision of ~art of South 3/4 of
the West ~ of the West 2 of Section 34, Town-
ship 42,North, Range 11, East of the Third
principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 2. Tnt said real estate as reclassified shall
be subject to all limitations and conditions placed upon pro-
perties in B-Business District as defined in said Ordinance
heretofore mentioned.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who
resists themforcement of any of the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00)
nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense,
each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute
a separate offense.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
