AN ORDINANCE annexing certain
lands to the Village of Mount
Prospect, Illinois.
lJHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with
the Village Clerk of the Villag~ of Mount Prospect by
WALTER ID~AUSE, JR. and LILLIAN w~AUSE, his wife, being the
sole owners of record of the hereinafter described land and
territory, requesting the annexation of said tract of land
and territory to the Villase of Mount prospect; and
VJHEREAS, sa id land and terri tory is not wi thin
the corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous

electors residing th~rein; and
WHEREAi, said petition states that no electors
reside therein, is under oath and in all respects complies
with the requirements of the statute in such case made and
provided; and
'dHEREAS, the president and Board of Trustees of
this Village have examined said petition and have considered
the question of the annexation of the territory described

in said petition and believe it to be to the best interests
of the municipality that such territory be annexed thereto;
Now, rrherefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the allegations contained in the
petition are true.
Section 2. That the lands and territory described
to-wit:
The North 421.08 feet of the South 636.08
feet of the West 575.43 feet of the Northwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section
34, Township 42 NorthJ Range 11, East of the
3rd principal Meridian in cook county, Illi-
nois, containing 5.562 acres.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount
prospect, is not embraced therein, is uninhabited, contains
no electors residing therein, and is unincorporated, be and
the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect
so that hereafter said territory shall be included within
the boundary lines and limits of said Village as is by law
in such case made and provided.
Section 3. The Village Clerk of this Village is
hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance,
together with an accurate map of said annexed territory,
with the Recorder of Deeds of cook County, Illinois.
section 4.That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval, according
to law.
