Ordinance No. 4-f 7
AN ORDINANCE annexing certain
lands to the village of Mount
prospect, Illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the
village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by HERMAN
BUSSE and MATHILDE BUSSE, his wife, being the sole owners
of record of the hereinafter described land and territory,
requesting the annexation of said tract of land and territory
to the Village of Mount prospect; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the
corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to
the village of Mount Prospect, is uninhabited and has no
electors residing therein; and
WHEREAS, said petition states that no electors reside
therein, is under oath and in all respects complies with the
requirements of the Statute in such case made and provided;
and
WHEREAS, the president and Board of Trustees of this
Village have examined said petition and have considered the
question of the annexation of the territory described in said
petition and believe it to be to the best interests of the
municipality that such territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE1 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY1 ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the allegations contained in the
petition are true.
section 2. That the lands and territory described to-wit:
The East 110 feet (as measured on the North line)
of that tart of the East ~ of the North west t

of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third principal Meridian lying North
of the North line of Golf Road; Also that part
of the west ~ of the North East t (except the
East 7.38 chains thereof, as measured on the
North line thereof) lying North of the North
line of Golf Road, in cook county, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount
prospect is not embraced therein, in uninhabited, contains
no eledtors residing therein, and is unincorporated, be and
the same is hereby annexed to the Village pf Mount prospect
so that hereafter said territory shall be included within
the boundary lines and limits of said Village as is by law
in such case made and provided.
Section 3. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance, together
with an accurate map of said annexed territory, with the Re-
corder of Deeds of Cook county, Illinois.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval, according
to law.
