Ordinance No. 4-7 d
AN ORDINANCE annexing certain
lands to the Village of Mount
Prospect, illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by SALVATORE DIMUCCI,
being the sole owner of record and CHARLES R. BERRYMAN and
DOROTHY M. BERRYMAN, being all of the elector s of the hereinafter
described land and territory, requesting the annexation of said tract of
land and territory to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Mount
Prospect. and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the Statute in such case made and
provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of this Village
have examined said petition and have considered the question of the
annexation of the territory described in said petition and believe it to
be to the best interests of the m1mi.cipality that such territory be annexed
thereto; Now, Therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE. PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the allegations contained in the petition are true.
Section 2. That the lands and territory described to-wit:
That part of Lots IlJH and "K" in Kirchoff's
Subdivision in the Northwest Quarter of Section 11,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian lying East of the center line of
Weller Creek, more particularly described as a
line begiIi.Il.i.n.g at a point on the North line of Lot llJ'l
307.60 feet East of the. Northwest corner thereof,
said point being on the Ncrth line of Section 11,
630.40 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Section
11, thence Southerly 306.97 feet to a point 688.58 feet
East of the West Line of said Section 11 on a line drawn
parallel to the South line of Lots HF and tlJll from a point
on said West line 1032.18 feet North of the Southwest
corner of said Lot "F") the.nce Southerly 152.47 feet toa
point 700.93 feet East of the West line of said Section 11
on a. line drawn parallel to the South line of Lots "F" and
ItJ" from a p,oint 880.0 feet North of the Southwest corner
of said Lot ItFH; thence Southerly 440. 44. feet to a point
729.55 feet East of the West line of said Section lIon a
line drawn parallel to the South line of said lots llFtland
ItJu from a point 440.0 feet North of the Southwest corner
of said Lot "Fit; thence Southerly 816.76 feet to a point
759.49 feet East of the West line of Section 11 on a line
drawn parallel to the North line of Lot "K" from a point
376.92 feet South of the Northwest corner of said Lot .'K'f
thence Southerly 283.87 feet to a point 776.35 feet East
of the West Une of said Secti.on lIon the South line of said
Lot UK". Said premises being subject to an easement 20 feet
in width to the Sanitary District of Chicago, the center line
of said easement being described as begimrlng,'at a point in
the South line of said Lot "K" 825.0 feet East of the West line
of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 11; thence North-
westerly in a straight line to a point in the North line oJ the
Northwest Quarterof said Section 11, 722.22 feet East of
the Northwest corner thereof,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is not
embraced therein, contains electors residing therein, and in unincor-
porated, be and the same is here by annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the
boundary lines and limits of said Village as is by law in such case made
and provided.
Section 3. The Village Clerk of thi.s Village is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an aC.curate map
of said annexed territory, withthe Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
Illinois.

Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its approval and passage according to law.
