AN ORDINANCE amending the Village
of Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance
as amended.

WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount
Prospect, at a public meeting duly called and held according to law,
considered the question of reclassifying from R-l Residence District
to B Business District, the real estate hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, after con-
side ring the recommendation of the said Zoning Commission, find and
believe that the best and highest use for the real estate herein is that
of B Business;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance classifying,
regulating and restricting the location of trades and industries and the
location of buildings designed for specified uses; regulating and limiting
the height and bulk of buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating
and limiting the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and deter-
mining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within and
surrounding such buildinglJ; establishing the boundaries of districts for
the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for the violation of its
provisions", passed and approved December 4, 1923, and amendments
thereto, and known as Ordinance No. 52 as amended, be further amended
by reclassifying from R-l Residence District to B Business District, the
following described real estate:
Lots One, Two, Three and Lot Four in Maple-
wood Heights, being a Subdivision of the East
15.00 chains of that part lying North of Rail-
road of Southeast Quarter of Section 12 (ex-
cept the Southerly Sixty-six feet for road,
also of Block Twenty-six in Busse IS Eastern
Addition to Mt. Prospect in the East Half of
Section 12, Town 41 North, Range 11, East of
the Third Principal Meridian
Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be
subject to all limitations and conditions placed upon properties in
B Business District as defined in said Ordinance hereinbefore
mentioned.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval andpublication according to law.
