AN ORDINANCE amending the
Village of Mount Prospect.
Zoning Ordinance as Amended
IfHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount
Prospect at a public meeting duly called and held according
to law on August 26, 1955, considered the question of reclassifying
from R-l Residence District to I-l Light Industrial District,
the parcel of real estate hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, having con-
sidered the said recorr@endation of the Zoning Commission, found
that the highest and best USe for the real estate herein is
that of I-l Light Industrial use; and
~~{EREAS, by a previously enacted Ordinance (Ordinance
No. lf7l1 , January 17, 1956) of the Village of ~1[ount Prospect,
property adjacent to the following described real estate was
reclassified from R-l Residence use to I-l Light Industrial
use and the following described real estate was inadvertently
excluded fronl the aforesaid Ordinance which reclassified the said
property; and
HHEREAS, it was the intention of the President and Board
of Trustees that the following described property be so re-
classified;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,

Illinois;
~ECTION 1. That an Ordinance entitled "The Zoning Ordinance
of I'1ount Prospect, As Amended" be further amended as follows:
by reclassifying from R-l Residence District to I-I Light
Industrial District the follov-ling real estate:
Lots 16 and 17 in Block 1, in Pleasant Hei~hts
Mount Prospect, being a Subdivision of Lot~ ~ ~nd
4 in Oehlerking's Division of land in the SE4
of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County
Illinois. '
SECTION 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall
be subject to all limitations and conditions placed upon
property in I-I Light Industrial District as defined in said
Ordinance heretofore mentioned.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
