AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 17.103
(Fees) AND SECTION '17.107 (Plates) OF
CHAPlf'ER 17 VEHICLE LICENSES, OF 'lIRE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT OF
1957 AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY rmE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF 'l~E VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT,
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That Chapter 17, Vehicle Licenses,
Section 17.103 Fees, of the Municipal Code of Mount
Prospect of 1957, as amended, be and the same is hereby
amended to and shall hereafter read as follows:
"Section 17.103 Fees. The annual fees for
motor vehicle licenses are as follows:

Section 2: That Chapter 17, Section 17.107 Plates,
of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended,
shall be and the same is hereby amended to and shall here-
after read as follows:
"Section 17.107. Plates and Windshield
Sticker.
(a) Each applicant, upon payment of the
fee, shall be given a license plate or wind-
shield sticker of such design and material as
may be approved by the President and Board of
Trustees. Any such license plate shall be
fastened in a prominent place on the front of
the vehicle at all times it is operated in the
Village. Any such windshield sticker shall be
affixed in the lower right-hand c orner on the
inside of the glass part of the windshield of
such motor vehicle, approximately one inch from
the right and lower section of the frame of
such windshield at all times it is operated in
the Village.
(b) There shall be an additional charge
of One ($1.00) Dollar to the fee set forth in
Section 17.103 to replace during the year any
windshield sticker or plates which have been

mutilated, destroyed or lost or for a transfer
caused by the sale of the vehicle to which the
original sticker or plates were affixed.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, approval and
due publication as provided by law.
Section 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed, reserving however, to the Village of Mount Pros-
pect any rights which have accrued to it against any person,
firm or corporation under any ordinance or sections of ordi-
nances which may be and are hereby repealed.
