1. CHAIRMAN POWERS CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 2:36 PM AT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
CONFERENCE ROOM
2. Roll Call: James Powers, Chairman
Rockne Bork, Commissioner
Mark Busse, Commissioner
Staff Present: Thomas Wang, Fire Chief
Aaron Grandgeorge, Fire Battalion Chief
Joe Vena, Deputy Fire Chief
3. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD — No one in attendance.

A motion was made by Commissioner Bork and seconded by Commissioner Busse to go into Closed Session
at 2:36 pm. Motion Unanimously Approved
4.1. Personnel 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) - The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or
dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an
employee of the public body for the public body to determine its validity.
4.2. Conduct Fire Department oral interviews
Chief Wang excused himself at 2:45 pm.
The Board took a dinner break at 5:11 pm and resumed interviews at 5:49 pm.
A motion was made by Commissioner Bork and seconded by Commissioner Busse to return to the Open
Session at 8:39 pm. Motion Unanimously Approved
The Board returned to the Open Session at 8:39 pm.

Also present: DC Vena, BC Grandgeorge
5. ADJOURNMENT
With no further business, a motion was made by Commissioner Bork and seconded by Commissioner
Busse to adjourn the meeting at 8:39 pm. Motion Unanimously Approved
