X. OLD BUSINESS
A. 2nd reading of an ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE (Exhibit B)
VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance implements components of the Village's new "Residential Intersection
Traffic Control" program and the "Residential Speed Limit" program for Zones 3, 4
and 10.
B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING APPENDIX A, DIVISION II, ENTITLED (Exhibit C)
FEES, RATES AND TAXES OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT.
This ordinance establishes an increase in water (4%) and sewer (3.4%) rates effective
January 1, 2009.

A. PUBLIC HEARING
This public hearing, called pursuant to proper legal notice having been published in
the Daily Herald on November 20, 2008, is for the purpose of presenting the proposed
tax levy for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2008 and ending December 31, 2008.
B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF (Exhibit D)
TAXES FOR THE CORPORATE AND MUNICIPAL PURPOSES OF THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1,
2008 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31,2008.

POLICY
This resolution establishes policies and procedures to detect, prevent and mitigate
the impact of identity theft.
H. *Request Village Board to accept Public Improvements at Busse Retail Center,
1631 Algonquin Road. Public and private improvements for Busse Retail Center
have been satisfactorily completed and staff recommend approval of this project.

of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular
parcel should be acquired.
PERSONNEL 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) - The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline,
performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony
on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity.
