AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE FOR PROPERTY
COMMONLY KNOWN AS 102 SOUTH HATLEN AVENUE
WHEREAS, Lennard W. Jendal (hereinafter referred to as Petitioner)
has filed an application for a special use permit, as provided in
Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, fo~
property commonly known as 102 South Hatlen Avenue (hereinafter
referred to as Subject Property), legally described as:
Lot 49 in Hatlen Heights, Unit #3, a subdivision of part
of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 10, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois
and
WHEREAS, Petitioner seeks a special use to allow a tandem four-car
garage; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the variation and special use
requested, being the subject of ZBA Case No. 21-SU-92 before the
Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the
23rd day of April, 1992, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof
published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 7th day of April,
1992; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings
and recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect and the President and Board of Trustee~
of the Village have given further consideration to the special use
permit being the subject of ZBA 21-SU-92, and have determined that
the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect would be served
by granting said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated
herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect hereby grant to the Subject Property a special
use to allow a tandem four-car garage, subject to the condition
that the garage addition be constructed of materials to match the
existing garage.
SECTION THREE: Except for the variation and special use granted
herein, all other applicable Village of Mount Prospect Ordinances
and regulations shall remain in full force and effect as to the
Subject Property.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
age 2 of 2
from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in the manner provided by law.
