All members of the public are welcome to listen, ask questions, and be part of the conversation. This Committee of the Whole meeting is taken "On The Road" and being held at RecPlex [420 Dempster Street], in an effort to focus on the south side of the Village. This discussion will be about New Fire Station 11, South Mount Prospect TIF, annexation of southern unincorporated properties, infrastructure improvements, Human Services Department and Community Connections Center updates specifically for the area south of Golf Road in Mount Prospect. Discussion On the agenda to speak and/or answer questions from the audience are: • John Dolan, Fire Chief, will present the Department's new 4 atom response plan which will start when Fire Station 11 is operational and provide enhanced EMS/fire services for south Mount Prospect and unincorporated areas. • Jason Shallcross, Director of Community Development, will provide an update on annexation of unincorporated properties, South Mount Prospect TIF, progress towards the Connect South Mount Prospect sub -area plan and development projects. • Sean Dorsey, Director of Public Works, will give an infrastructure improvement update, which includes details/status of the Algonquin Road shared use path and the potential Oakton Street water main extension project. • Julie Kane, Director of Human Services, will provide an update on services, including the Community Connection Center (1711 W. Algonquin Road), and share information on a needs assessment and transit study. • Mike Eterno, Police Chief, will be in attendance to discuss meetings and outreach done by the department such as beat meetings and special events. • Bill Schroeder, Director of Building and Inspection Services, available to answer any questions related to building permit and inspection processes as well as environmental health. In addition to the above, all members of the Village's Leadership Team will be available to answer questions from the audience. Staff fluent in Spanish and in Polish will be in attendance to assist in translation as needed. This is an informal discussion to allow for any interested residents and business owners to share their thoughts about anything related to south Mount Prospect. AIfprnativpc 1. A company that is staffed full-time is available 8,760 hours per year. UHU measures the percentage of on -duty time consumed by emergency service field activities. A high UHU means lower availability for calls. Poor availability negatively affects response times.
