A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PLAT OF EASEMENT
ACCEPTING EASEMENT RIGHTS TO RANDHURST VILLAGE PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF
OPERATING AND MAINTANINING STREET LIGHTING EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the Randhurst Village development is required to install streetlights along Elmhurst
Road, Euclid Avenue and Kensington Road; and
WHEREAS, the project includes the installation of three (3) controller boxes for the streetlight
system adjacent to Commonwealth Edison equipment and situated outside the public right-of-way
on Randhurst Village property; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect will operate and maintain the streetlight system and
controller boxes and a need will exist to enter private property and access the street lighting
equipment; and
WHEREAS, Randhurst Village (DCL Management Corporation) has agreed to grant three (3)
easements to the Village of Mount Prospect and Commonwealth Edison.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect do hereby authorize the
President to sign a plat of easement accepting easement rights to Randhurst Village property for
the purpose of operating and maintaining street lighting equipment attached hereto and made part
of this Resolution as Exhibit "A"
SECTION TWO: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval in the manner provided by law.
