ORDINANCE NO. 4479
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP WITH
RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
R-X TO R-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICT AS IT
PERTAINS TO PROPERTIES GENERALLY LOCATED
AT 805 AMD 807 EDGEWOOD LANE
WHEREAS, Gettysburg Development Corporation (hereinafter referred
to as Petitioner), has filed an application to rezone the
properties commonly known as 805 Edgewood Lane and 807 Edgewood
Lane (hereinafter referred to as Subject Property), legally
described as follows:
Lots i and 2 in Preskis Resubdivision, being a resubdivision
in the Northwest Quarter of section 14, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County,
Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, Petitioner has requested the subject Property be rezoned
from R-X to R-1 (Single Family Residence) District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the request for rezoning,
being the subject of ZBA Case No. 59-Z-92, before the Zoning Board
of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 27th day of
August, 1992 pursuant to due and proper notice thereof having been
published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the llth day of August,
1992; and
WHEREA~, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and
recommendation to the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have considered the request being the subject of
ZBA 59-Z-92 and have determined that the best interests of the
Village of Mount Prospect would be served by granting said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AMD BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the recitals set forth hereinabove are
incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: The official zoning map of the Village of Mount
Prospect, Illinois, as amended, is hereby further amended by
reclassifying the property being the subject of this Ordinance to
a R-1 (Single Family Residence) District.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in the manner provided by law.

NAYS: None
ABSENT: Busse
