AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE FOR PROPERTY
COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1811 SITKA LANE
WHEREAS, James R. Hoffman (hereinafter referred to as Petitioner)
has filed an application for a Special Use for property commonly
known as 1811 Sitka Lane (hereinafter referred to as subject
Property), legally described as:
Lot 241 in Brickman Manor 2nd Addition Unit 3, being a
subdivision of part of the Northwest Quarter of Section
25, To~rnship 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois
and
WHEREAS, Petitioner seeks a Special Use permit, as provided in
Section 14.1101.C.8, to allow a commercial vehicle with a licensed
weight of more than 8,000 pounds to be parked in a garage in a
residential district; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the Special Use being the
subject of ZBA Case No. 69-SU-92, before the Zoning Board of
Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 22nd day of
October, 1992, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published
in the Mount ProsDect Herald on the 6th day of October, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and
recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect and the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village have given further consideration to the Special Use
and being the subject of ZBA 69-SU-92 and have determined that the
best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect would be served by
granting said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated
herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect hereby grant a Special Use to allow a commercial
vehicle with a licensed weight or more than 8,000 pounds to be
parked in a garage in a residential district.
SECTION THREE: Except for the Special Use granted herein, all
other applicable Village of Mount Prospect Ordinances and
regulations shall remain in full force and effect as to the Subject
Property.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect

from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in the manner provided by law.
