Trustee Wilks
It was noted that the subject Trustee Hendricks wanted
to discuss was how the design for the Police and Fire
Headquarters facility Dedication Plaque was decided.
Specifically, he questioned why Trustee SkOwron's and
his name were omitted from the plaque, considering the
fact that they were sitting Trustees at the time of the
building dedication. He felt that the omission was not
conducive to team building among Board members.
Mayor Farley responded that the decision had been made
as the result of extensive discussions by and between
Board members late in the summer of 1991. All
incumbent Board members concurred with the Mayor's
recollection.
Trustee Skowron asked if the discussion had resulted
in a written policy statement. If not, then it should
be formally adopted as such.
Based upon additional discussion, staff was directed
to research the issue and provide Board members with
any available information as to whose names appear on
plaques.
Trustee Hendricks indicated that he was not asking that
the existing Dedication Plaque be redesigned.
ADJOURNMENT Mayor Farley adjourned the meeting at 11:12 P.M.
