AF/5/12/93 ORDINANCE NO. 4557 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MA~ WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING PROPERTY FROM R-X TO R-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICT (1000-1010 NORTH ELMHURST ROAD) WHEREAS, Nauert Builders, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Petitioner), has filed an application to rezone the subject property generally located at 1000 - 1010 North Elmhurst Road (hereinafter referred to as Subject Property), legally described as follows: Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Elmhurst Place, being a Resubdivision of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Block 6, Wedgewood Terrace in the East 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 27, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, as per plat thereof recorded as Document No. 13732148, in the Office of the Recorder, Cook County, Illinois; and WHEREAS, Petitioner has requested the Subject Property be rezoned from R-X to R-1 (Single Family Residential) District; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the request for rezoning, being the subject of ZBA Case No. 23-Z-93, before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 22nd day of April, 1993 pursuant to due and proper notice thereof having been published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 6th day of April, 1993; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendation to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have considered the request being the subject of ZBA 23-Z'93 and have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect would be served by granting said request. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That the recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION TWO: The official zoning map of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, as amended, is hereby further amended by reclassifying the property being the subject of this Ordinance from R-X to R-1 (Single Family Residence) District. SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
