ORDINANCE NO. (<?'b
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT,
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, on May 20, 1958, the following petition was
filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect:
"PETITION
We, the undersigned, being the Owners of Record,
of the territory hereinafter described, and by this
petition ask that the same be annexed to the Village
of Mount Prospect: respectfully, petition and submit,
that:
The land hereinafter described is contiguous to ~
the corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect, L0
Illinois. ~

There are no electors residing within said ~
territory as hereinafter described, and herein sought ~
to be annexed. 00
That it is our desire that said territory be
annexed so that it will come within the corporate
limits of the Village of Mount Prospect, and submit
copies of the territory in plat form.
Said territory, being described as follows:
Lot 3 in Owners Subdivision of Section 13,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois.

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect have considered the question of
annexation of the territory described in said petitionj and
WHEREAS, the President and the Board of Trustees of

the Village of Mount Prospect have independently determined
that said property, as described in the aforesaid petition,
is not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
that it is contiguous to the present Village limits of the
Village of Mount Prospect, that no electors reside thereon,
and that the aforesaid petitioners constitute the owners of
record of all the land described in the aforesaid petition,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That the following described property:
Lot 3 in Owners Subdivision of Section 13,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois.
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, pursuant to the provisions

Section 2: That this ordinance shall be effective upon
its passage and approval according to law.

with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a
certified copy of this ordinance, together with an accurate
map of the territory annexed, attached hereto and made a
part hereof.
