HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 656 02/17/1959 17 473 443 ORDINANCE NO. b$ Ie AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, on November 4, 1958, the following petition was filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect: lip E TIT ION I, the undersigned, being the Owner of Record, of the territory hereinafter described, and by this petition aslc that the same be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect: respectfully, petition and submit, that: The land hereinafter described is contiguous to the corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois. There are no electors residing within said territory as hereinafter described, and herein sought to be annexed. That it is my desire that said territory be annexed so that it will come within the corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect, and submit copies of the territory in plat form. Said territory, being described as follows: (Legal Description - see page 2) Said Territory, being described as follows: That part of the SW t of Section 12, Tovmship 41 North; Range 11; East of the 3rd. Principal Meridian; described as follows: towit, - Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Quarter Section; thence N. 00 09' 1011 E., along the East line thereof 219.70 ft. to an intersection with the center line of a 60 foot wide Right of Way of Drainage Ditch; Thence along the center line of said Right of 1ila~, N. 570 01' 50" 1'1., 758 ft.; Thence N. 80 30' 50" 1'1.,418.20 ft.; Thence S. 810 14' 40" W., along the center line of said Right of Way, 86.95 ft.; Thence S. 00 021 30" H., 648.80 feet. to an intersection with the South line of the SW ~ of Section 12 afore- said; Thence S. 880 011 40" E. along said --.1 ..po.. -...j <...,0 ..po.. ..po.. L0 (i) - 2 - line. 1134.88 feet to the Place of Beginning; Together with an easement as a Roadway over, and across a strip of land 33 feet wide, said strip being an extension of Emerson Street, as laid out in lIprospect Highlands", Being a Subdivision of the Westerly 319.40 ft. of the East half of the North 60 Rods of the SW t of Section 12 aforesaid; and said extension of said Street running South from the South line of the aforesaid North 60 Rods, to the North line of the premises described. The Northerly 30 ft. of said premises described, are subject to the Right of vlay for drainage purposes Containing 13.39513 Acres Also: That part of the SW t of Section 12, Township L~l North; Range 11; East of the 3rd. Principal Meridian; Described as follows: to- wit, - Beginning at a point on the South line of the SW t of said Section 12 lying 1134.88 ft. West of the S.E. Corner of said Quarter Section; Thence N. 00 02' 30" E. along the Centerline of Emerson Street extended South. a distance of 50 ft.; Thence West on a line parallel to and 50 ft.
