AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 675
GRANTING A VARIATION FROM THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE AS
AMENDED
WHEREAS, on May 19, 1959 Ordinance No. 675 was
adopted by the corporate authorities of the Village of
Mount Prospect granting a certain variation from the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance as amended, as
petitioned in zoning case No. 59-11; and
WHEREAS# it has been ascertained that the varia-
tion as granted in said Ordinance does not conform with
the original petition of the petitioner filed on March 24,
1959 and the evidence presented at the public hearing held
April 17, 1959; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the corporate
authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect that the use
of the property as petitioned with a front yard of not
less than 171 8" and a rear yard of not less than 10'
satisfies the requirements for variation in harmony with
the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance;
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the corporate
authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect to amend
Ordinance No. 675 in order to conform with the evidence
presented at said public hearing and the petition filed
by the petitioner,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT,
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 6'T5
adopted May 19, 1959 be and the same is hereby amended to

and shall hereafter read as follows:
"Section 1: That the following described
property be exempt from the application of
Section 14 Minimum Front Yard Requirements,
and of Section 15 Minimum Rear Yard Require-
ments, of the Village of Mount Prospect Zoning
Ordinance as amended:
Lot A (except the S. 255 ft.) in Block 8 in
Busse & Wille's Resubdivision in Mt. Prospect
in the West 1/2 of Section 12, Twp. 41 N, R 11,
E 3rd P.M., in Cook County, Illinois,
to the sole extent that a minimum front yard
of no less than 17' 8" and a minimum rear yard
of no less than 10' is hereby made permissible."
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
