ORDINANCE NO. 6~~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE AS
AMENDED
HHEREAS, a Notice of Public Hearing with respect
to the question of rezoning the following-described pro-
perty from R-l (Single-Family Residence) District to I-I
(Light Industrial) District u~e:
Lot 1 in Ethel Busse Subdivision, part of
the East Half of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
Cook County, Illinois as recorded May '(,
1959 a~3 Document No. 1(531030,
was duly published in the Mount Prospect Herald, a newspaper
of general circulatIon in the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Board of
Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect in the Village Hall
in the Village of Mount Prospect on the l'(th day of April,
1959 at the hour of 8:00 P.M. pursuant to the provisions of
the aforesaid public notice, and all persons who desired to
be heard were heard and an opportunity given to all persons
who desired to make remonstrances and objections with refer-
ence thereto; and
vIHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of
Mount Prospect, subsequent to said public hearing, recom-
mended by letter dated April 21, 1959 that the aforesaid pro-
perty be rezoned as hereinafter specified; and
WHEREAS, the cor~orate authorities of the Village of
Mount Prospect, having further considered this matter, have
determined that the property hereinafter described should be
rezoned as hereinafter specified in the public interest of
the Village of Mount Prospect,
NOH, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

Section 1: 'fhat an ordinance entitled, "An Ordi-
nance classifying, regulating and restricting the location
of trades and industries and the location of buildings de-
signed for specified uses; regulatin8 and limiting the height
and bulk of buildings hereafter erected or altered, regula-
ting and limiting the intensity of the use of lot areas and
regulating and determining the area of yards, courts and
other open spaces within and surrounding such buildings;
establishing the boundaries of districts for said purposes,
and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provi-
slons" passed and approved December 4, 1923 and amendments
thereto (and known as Ordinance No. 52) as amended, be fur-
ther amended by reclassifying the following-described real
estate from R-l (Single Family Residence) District to 1-1
(Light Indur3trial) District use:
Lot 1 in Ethel Busse Subdivision, part of
the East Half of the Northwest Q,uarter of
Section 12, Township 4l North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
Cook County, Illinois as recorded May 7,
1959 as Document No. l(531030.
Section 2: That the Zoning Plan of the Village of
Mount Prospect as amended, be and the same is hereby amended
to conform to the above change.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
Section 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby re-
pealed, reserving however, to the Village of Mount Prospect
any rights which have accrued to it against any person, firm
or corporation under any ordinance or sections of said Zoning

Ordinance which may be and are hereby repealed.
