ORDINANCE NO. 69g
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, a Notice of Public Hearing with respect to
the question of rezoning the property set forth in Section 1
below from R-l (Single Family Residence) District to G (Golf
Club) District use was duly published in the Mount Prospect
Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the Village of
Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Board of
Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect in the Village Hall
in the Village of Mount Prospect on the 30th day of October,
1959 at the hour of 8:00 P.M. pursuant to the provisions of
the aforesaid public notice, and all persons who desired to
be heard were heard and an opportunity given to all persons
who desired to make remonstrances and objections with refer-
ence thereto; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of
Mount Prospect, subsequent to said public hearing, recommended
that the subject property be rezoned as hereinafter specified;
and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of
Mount Prospect, having further considered this matter, have
determined that property hereinafter described should be re-
zoned as hereinafter specified in the public interest of the
Village of Mount Prospect; provided, however, that any addi-
tional area to be set aside on said property for paved off-
street parking area shall only be after the recommendations
and action set forth in Section 7.4 of said Zoning Ordinance,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1:
That an ordinance entitled, "An Ordi-
nance classifying, regulating and restricting the location of
trades and industries and the location of buildings designed
for specified uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk
of buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and limit-
ing the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and
determining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces
within and surrounding such buil,dings; establishing the boun-
daries of districts for said purposes; and prescribing penal-
ties for the violation of its provisions," passed and approved
December 4, 1923 and amendments thereto (and known as Ordinance
No. 52) as amended, be further amended by reclassifying the
following described real estate from R-l (Single Family Resi-
dence) District to G (Golf Club) District use:
Parcel One: Lot 18 (except the North 669
feet of the East 155.5' thereof) of Northwest
Hills Country Club Subdivision, being a subdivi-
sion of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, the South Half
of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
and the North ten acres of the Southwest Quarter
of the Southwest Quarter and the East Half of
the Southwest Quarter, all in Section 11, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Prin-
cipal Meridian;
Parcel Two: The North 200 feet of the East
155.5 feet and the South 66 feet of the North 519
feet of the East 155.5 feet of Lot 18, aforesaid;
also
Parcel Three: Block 23 and vacated half
street West of and adjoining said Block 23, in
Prospect Park Country Club Subdivision, being a
subdivision of the Southeast Quarter of Section

11, and the South 15 acres of the East Half of
the Northeast Quarter of said Section 11, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian; also
Parcel Four: Lots 16 to 19, both inclusive,
in Block 24 in Prospect Park Country Club Subdi-
vision, being a subdivision of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 11, and the South 15 acres of
the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section
11, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian; also
Parcel Five: Lots 19 to 35, both inclusive,
in Northwest Hills Country Club Subdivision, be-
ing a subdivision of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11,East of
the Third Principal Meridian,
all in the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 2: That no additional area of the property
set forth above may be set aside for off-street parking until
compliance with the procedure set forth in Section 7.4, as
amended, of said Zoning Ordinance.
Section 3: That the Zoning Plan of the Village of
Mount Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended
to conform to the above change.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval ac-
cording to law.
Section 5: That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed,
reserving however, to the Village of Mount Prospect any rights
which have accrued to it against any person, firm or corpora-
tion under any ordinance or sections of said Zoning Ordinance

which may be and are hereby repealed.
