Ai'J ORDINAi~CE Al,"ENDING T'rlE VILLAGE OF
lvi.OUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINAl'ICE AS
A}IENDED
WHEREAS, a notice of public hearing with respect to
the question of rezoning the following-described property from
R-l (Single Family Residence) to P-l (Off-street Parking -
Paved) District use:
Lot 9 Block 25 Prospec t ~':;anor Sub. of part of
the S 3/4 of the W 1/2 of Sec. 34, Twp. 42 N.
R. 11 E 3rd P.lI. in Cook County, Illinois,
was duly published in the Hount Prospect Herald, a newspaper
of general circulation in the Village of Hount Prospect; and
~vHgRE1\S, a public hearing was held by the Board of
Appeals of the Village of Nount Prospect in the Village Hall
in the Village of hount Prospect on the 26th day of August,
1960, at the hour of 8:00 P.l-'I. pursuant to the provisions of
the aforesaid public notice, and all persons who desired to
be heard were heard and an opportunity given to all persons
who desired to make remonstrances and objections with refer-
ence thereto; and
~~IEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of
Mount Prospect, subsequent to said public hearing, recommended
that the aforesaid property be rezoned as hereinafter speci-
fied; and
1~~EREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of
Mount Prospect, having further considered this matter, have
determined that the property hereinafter described should be
rezoned as hereinafter specified in the public interest of the
Village of Hount Prospect,

NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIN.;ID BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF hOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1:
That an ordinance entitled, /fAn Ordi-
nance classifying, regulating and restricting the location of
trades and industries and the location of buildings designed
for specified uses; regulating and limiting the height and
bulk of buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating
and limiting the intensity of the use of lot areas and regu-
lating and determining the area of yards, courts and other
open spaces within and surrounding such buildings; establish-
ing the boundaries of districts for said purposes, and pre-
scribing the penalties for violation of its provisionsll passed
and approved December 4, 1923 and amendments thereto (and
known as Ordinance No. 52) as amended, be further amended by
reclassifying the following-described real estate from R-l
(Single Family Residence) District to P-I (Off-street Parking -
Paved) District use:
Lot 9 Block 25 Prospect banor Sub. of part
of the S 3/4 of the W 1/2 of Sec. 34, Twp.
42 N, R-ll, E 3rd P.M. in Cook County, Ill.
Section 2: That the Zoning Plan of the Village of
}'Iount Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended
to conform to the above change.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
Section 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed,

reserving however, to the Village of Mount Prospect any rights
which have accrued to it against any person, firm or corpora-
tion under any ordinances or sections of said Zoning Ordinance
which may be and are hereby repealed.
