WI:Emi.J'~S, the board of Appeals of the Villa[;e of Mount
Prospect, sitting as a zoning commission at a public meeting duly
called and helQ according to law (Appeal No. 61-23), considered
the question of reclassifying from 1-1 District, Light Industrial,
to B-3 District, Business, the real estate hereinafter described,
and
/1H~h}:J\.S, the petition for said I'ezoning has filed with
the Village Clerk another application for the rezoning of the
north 100 feet of the property hereinafter described to P-l, Park-
ing, which application will be acted upon in due course, and
WHBEEAS, the petitioner herein has agreed to repair or
install curb-sidewalks adjacent to said property along Central
Road, Elmhurst Avenue and Northwest HighwaJT (Route U.S. 14) in
conformity with the directions of the Building Department of the
Village and at such time and in sl)ch manner as they rnay herein-
after provide, and
WHZHEAS, the Pres ident and l.:Soard of Trustees of the
Village of I'.Iount Prospect, having cons idered the recommendations
of the Zoning Board of Appeals and the promises made by the peti-
tioner, as heretofore set fortil, find and believe that the highest
and best use of said real estate hereinafter described is that of
B-3 District, business,

Illinois:
Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "An ordinance
classifying, re~ulating and restricting the location of trades
and industries and tile location of buildings designed for speci-
fied uses; regulating and liniti,ng tbe hei[,ht and bulk of build-
ings hereafter erected or altered, rep:ulating and limiting the
intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and determining
the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within and sur-
rounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of districts
for the said purposes; and prescribins penalties for the viola-
tion of its provisj.onsll passed and approved December LI_' 1923, and
amend:,uents thereto, and known as Ordinance Lo. 52, as m,lended by
an ordinance known and cited as the Zoning Ordinance of ILOUl1t
Prospect passed and approved ii'ay 2, 19;+11_' and as subsequ,ently
amended to date hereof, be amended by reclassifying from I-l Dis-
trict, Industrial, to B-3 District, business, the following de-
scrioed real estate:
Com.monly descrioed as beginning at the nqrthwest corner of Pine
street and Northwest Highway; thence nor-ch on the west side of
Pine str'eet a distance of 165.59 feet; thence northwesterly on a
line parallel to Nort11west Eighway to its intersection with a
line drawn at right angles to Central Hoad 15L~.5 feet west of the
west side of ?ine street as measured on Central, thence north on
said line to Central; thence west on south side of Central to
Elmhurst Hoad; thence south on the east side of l::Jll'nhurst Hoad to
Northwest Pighway; tD.ence southeasterly on tile norti'leasterly s io.e
of Northwest P-:ighway to Pine street, the point of beginning, and
legally described as follows:
Cornmenc ing at a point in the east line of Block 1 in :Jus se and
Wille'S Eesubdivision in the West half of Section 12, 'l'ownship Ll
North, Hange 11 East of the 'l'hird Principal ;ieridian, 165.5'-1 feet
north of the Southeast corner of said Block 1, said Southeast
corner of said Block 1 being tIle point of intersection of the
East line of said Block with the Southwesterly line thereof;

Section 2. That said real estate ae reclassified shall
be subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon
property in the B-3 District, Business, as defined in the ordi-
nances afore:~l€nt ioned.
Section 3. That any person, firm of corporation who
violates, disobeys, omits, ne ects or refuses to compl? 1Nith or
,;vno resists the enforce~lent of any of the provisions of this or-
dinance shall be fined not more than One hundred ( :100) Dollars
