AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF IIfOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY LOCATED AT
GOLF AND EUmiURST ROADS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount
Prospect, sitting as a zoning Commission at a public meeting duly
called and held according to law (Appeal No. 60 - 20 ),
considered the question of reclassifying the real estate herein-
after described from R-l, Residential District, to B-3, Business
District (as to 1st parcel described), R-1, Residential District,
to B-3, Business District (as to 2nd parcel described), and R-l,
Residential District, to B-1, Business District (as to 3rd parcel
described). AND, t'IHERSAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect, having considered the recommendation of
said Zoning Board of Appeals,
AND, WHEREAS, the petitioner and the Village have entered into agreements
which are ru11y set rorth in the minutes of the Board or Trustees or the
Village of Mount Prospect or November 8, 1961, it being rully understood
by all concerned that the annexation and rezoning of the hereinafter de-
scribed real estate are expressly conditioned upon the compliance with
said agreements,
AND, VffiEREAS, the Village or Mount Prospect
find and believe that the highest and best use of said real estate
is that of B-3, B-3, and B-1, Business Districts, respectively_
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
section 1. That an ordinance entitled "An ordinance
classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trades
and industries and the location of buildings designed for speci-
fied uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk of build-
ings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and limiting the
intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and determihing
the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within and sur-
rounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of districts
for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for the violation
of its provisions," passed and approved December 4, 1923, and
amendments thereto, and known as Ordinance No. 52, as amended by
an ordinance known and cited as the Zoning Ordinance of Mount
prospect, passed and approved May 2, 1944, and as subsequently
amended to date hereof, be amended by reclassifying the following
described real estate from R-l to B-3 (as to 1st parcel described),
R-l to B-3 (as to 2nd parcel described), and R-1 to B-1 (as to 3rd
parcel described),

attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference as if here fully set out.)
Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall
be subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon prop-
erties in the B-3, B-3 and B-1, Business Districts, respectively,
as defined in the ordinances aforementioned.
Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who
violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or
who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this or-
dinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred ($IOO) Dollars
for each offense, and each day that a violation is permitted to
exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication,
according to law.

The North 160 reet, as measured on the East line thereor, of the
East 160 reet, as measured on the North line thereor, or Lots 5
and 6, taken as a tract, in Juhnke'S Subdivision or that part of
the East 854.70 reet of the Northeast quarter of Section 14,
Township 41 North, Range 11 East or the Third Principal Meridian,
lying South of the center of Go1r Road, cook County, Illinois.
(2nd parcel described):
The North 450 feet of the South 500 feet, as nleasured on the West
line thereof, of the West 250 feet, as measured on the South line
thereor, of Lot 7 in Juhnke's Subdivision of that part of the
East 854.70 reet of the Northeast quarter of Section 14, Township
41 North, Range 11 East of the Third principal Meridian, lying
South of the center of Golf Road, Cook county, Illinois.
(3rd Parcel described);
Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Juhnke's Subdivision of that part of the
East 854.70 feet of the Northeast quarter or Section 14, Township
41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying
South or the center of Golf Road, excepting therefrom that part
described as the North 160 reet, as measured on the East line
thereor, of the East 160 feet, as measured on the North line
thereof, of said Lots 5 and 6, taken as a tract, and except the
South 50 feet, as measured on the East and West lines thereof,
or said Lot 7, and also except the North L~5u feet of the South
500 feet, as measured on the West line thereof, or the West 250
feet, as measured on the South line thereof, of said Lot 7, Cook
COQDty, Illinois.
