AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF ELMHURST ROAD AND GOLF ROAD.
WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect,
sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting duly called and held
according to law (Appeal No. 62-29) considered the question of reclassi-
fying the real estate hereinafter described from R-l, 'Residential District,
to B-2, Business District,
AND WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect, having considered the recommendation of said Zoning
Board of Appeals,
AND WHEREAS the petitioners have agreed to improve said property
in accordance with the plans submitted and the testimony given to the
Zoning Board of Appeals at its hearing, and
WHEREAS for this reason the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended
and the Village Board has approved of the rezoning request, the said
Zoning Board does find and believe that the highest and best use of said
real estate is that of B-2, Business District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1: That an ordinance entitled "An ordinance classifying,
regulating and restricting the location of trades and industries and the
location of buildings designed for specfied uses; regulating and limiting
the height and bulk of buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating
and limiting the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and
determining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces Within and
surrounding such buildings; establishinr, the boundaries of districts
for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for the violation of
its provisions," passed and approved December 4, 1923, and amendments
thereto, and known as Ordinance No. 52, as amended by an ordinance known
and cited as the Zoning Ordinance of Mount Prospect, passed and approved
May 2, 1944, and as subsequently amended to date hereof, be amended by
reclassifying the following described real estate from R-l, Residential
District, to B-2, Businesss District:
Lot 11, Block 4 in Lonnquist Gardens, being a subdivision
of part of the Northwest quarter of Section 14, Township
41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Cook County, according to plat thereof recorded
November 20, 1945 as Doc. 13663132 in Book 356 of Plats, P. 5
Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be subject
to all the limitations and conditions placed upon properties in the B-2
Business District as defined in the ordinances aforementioned.

Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the
enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not
more than One Hundred ($100) Dollars for each offense, and each day that a
violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.

Ii Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
I effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
