AN ORDINANCE ANlffiXING PROPERTY LOCATED
IMI/IEDIATELY NORTH OF GOLF ROAD AND
APPROXIMATELY BISECTED BY A DEDICATED
STREET KNOWN AS LOUIS STHEET TO 'rHE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
\~lEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Vil-
lage Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by Harris Trust and
Savings Bank, not individually but as Trustee under its Trust No.
16648, being the sole owner of record of the hereinafter de-
scribed land and territory for annexation to the Village of Mount
Prospect, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corpor-
ate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village oT
~~ount Prospect, is uninhabited and has no electors residing thereon,
and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statutes in such cases made
and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of lJ1rustees of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect have examined said petition, have considered
the question of annexation of the territory described therein, and
believe it to be to the best interests of the municipality that
such territory be in fact annexed thereto.
NOW, THEREFOP~, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board ~
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That all lands and territories described in
said petition, towit:
Lot 7 (except the West 325.71 feet, measured at right
angles to the West line thereof, and except that part of
Lot 7 described as follows: Beginning at the intersec-
tion of the East line of the West 325.71 feet, measured
at right angles to the West line thereof, of Lot 7 with
the Southerly line of Lot 7; thence North on the East
line of the West 325.71 feet, aforesaid, 344 feet; thence
East at right angles to the East line of the West 325.71
feet of Lot 7, 143 feet; thence South on a line parallel
with the East line,of the West 325.71 feet of Lot 7,
318.66 feet to the Southerly line of Lot 7~ thence
Westerly on the southerly line of Lot 7, 1+5.23 feet to
the place of beginning) in Owner's Subdivision of Sec-
tion 13, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal ~eridian, (except that part of said tract taken
for Golf Road), Cook county, Illinois;
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is
not within the limits of any municipality, contains no electors
and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that
hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made
and provided.

Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this
ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with
the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
