AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP WITH
RESPECT TO THE ZONING PROPERTY FROM R-X TO R-1
(1022 LINNEMANROAD)
WHEREAS, Mariusz and Margaret Hauer (hereinafter referred to as
Petitioners), has filed an application to rezone the property
generally located at 1022 Linneman Road (hereinafter referred to as
Subject Property), legally described as follows:
That part of the North east quarter of Section 14,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at the point
788.95 feet east and 393.68 feet north of the southwest
corner of said north east quarter; thence running north
parallel to the west line 126.46 feet; thence running
west parallel to the south line 172.23 feet; thence
running south parallel to the west line 126.46 feet;
thence running east parallel to the south line 172.23
feet to the place of beginning, in Cook County, Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, Petitioners have requested the Subject Property be rezoned
from R-X to R-1 (Single Family Residential); and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the request for rezoning,
being the subject of ZBA Case No. 45-Z-93, before the Zoning Board
of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 24th day of
June, 1993 pursuant to due and proper notice thereof having been
published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 8th day of June,
1993; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and
recommendation to the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have considered the request being the subject of
ZBA 45-Z-93 and have determined that the best interests of the
Village of Mount Prospect would be served by granting said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the recitals set forth hereinabove are
incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: The official zoning map of the Village of Mount
Prospect, Illinois, as amended, is hereby further amended by
reclassifying the property being the subject of this Ordinance from
R-X to R-1 (Single Family Residence) District.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in the manner provided by law.
